It’s a great time to be here at Bonton Associates. Our growing staff of diverse, talented professionals is more committed than ever to leading communities toward a safe, sustainable water and transportation future. To help us get there, we’re proud to welcome Ainsley McGlynn as our newest Project Engineer.
Ainsley is a 2022 LSU graduate with a bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering. She’s also a Baton Rouge native, which brings a uniquely local perspective to her efforts. “I get to work on a multitude of projects that positively impact the community I grew up in,” she says. “It’s great to be able to see the results of the work we do first-hand.”
As a Project Engineer, Ainsley collaborates with various people across the firm. “If we take on a project, you can guarantee that it will be done by a dedicated team that genuinely cares about the work,” she says. Along with her teammates, she has embraced the firm-wide challenge of getting smarter about water. “Water is a necessity and a huge part of the culture and economy, including here in Baton Rouge,” she remarks. “We all need to become more aware of how individual actions affect the water system, and we should encourage the development of new innovations that benefit the water world.”
Ainsley grew up enjoying the water — fishing, swimming, boating and tubing were regular activities. Now she gets to say she works with water for a living, and in her downtime, she loves spending time outdoors, as well as diving into true crime podcasts, reading and new restaurant discoveries.
Thanks for joining #teambonton, Ainsley. It’s exciting to have you with us as we work together to serve your hometown and beyond!
